CARE offers a variety of informal workshops where parents come together to discuss the joys, humor, and sometimes struggles of daily family life. Participants work together in small groups to actively discuss common concerns and learn specific child-training principles and techniques. The classes guide parents toward raising responsible children who will grow into responsible men and women, capable of living meaningful, happy adult lives.

Infant Mental Health Program
The Infant Mental Health Program is a prevention and early intervention program that provides assessments, developmental guidance, advocacy, emotional support, counseling, and psychiatric services to families with infants who are "at risk for poor attachment relationships" that could result in developmental delays, abuse, and/or neglect. The earliest relationships--from birth to three--are the key to providing critical attentive care and nurturing stimulation to a young developing brain. Through this, trust, security, confidence and self-regulation provide the groundwork for success in school and life.

Child Care Enhancement Program
Concerned about an infant or toddler in your care?
CCEP can help you understand the social-emotional needs of infants and toddlers within your care, to prevent little concerns from becoming bigger ones. Readiness for kindergarten begins with formation of secure relationships, self-regulation, awareness and expression of emotions, and active exploration of the environment....from birth to three.
CCEP serves infants and toddlers from birth to 36 months who receive--or are eligible for--the DHS Child Care Subsidy, in either formal or informal care in Macomb and Oakland Counties. Child & family-centered mental health consultation through phone calls, e-mails, or in-person consultation. Services provided to center-based, family home, group home, relative or aide providers.

Kids on the Go
Kids on The Go offers physical, occupational and speech therapies in fun "summercamp" setting. The Mission of Kids on the Go is to address Individualized Education Plan goals of special needs children that were established at the end of the school year and to maintain their current skills during the summer.
This summer camp is free to families two times a week.
